Improper reservation of cabinet installation clearance may affect the use of slide rails
Leave a message
When installing each pair of slide rails, it is necessary to reserve the installation gap between the drawer and the cabinet, and reserve it according to the thickness of the slide rails. The thickness of the ordinary three-section drawer slide rail is generally about 12.7mm, and the gap reserved for installation should be about 13mm. What happens when the installation gap is not properly reserved?
If the installation gap is less than 13mm, for example, if the reserved gap between the drawer panel and the cabinet side panel is 12.5mm, the slide rail will be pushed and pulled tightly after installation, because the thickness of the slide rail is 12.7mm, which is equivalent to the slide rail being pressed and pulled in the middle, resulting in a very tight push and pull situation.
If the installation gap is greater than 13mm, for example, if the reserved gap between the drawer panel and the cabinet side panel is 13.5mm, the drawer may shake when the slide rail is installed, and there may also be situations where the drawer is pushed or pulled apart. In addition to the thickness of the slide rail, the installation gap is too large, and the middle of the gap is also equal to a little empty.
Improper reservation of cabinet installation clearance will directly affect the use of the slide rail, so it is necessary to pay attention to reserving installation clearance when installing the slide rail!
