Four types of differences in drawer slides

1. Powder Spray Drawer Slide: As the first generation of slide rails, the structure is relatively simple, consisting of one pulley and two rails, which can meet daily push and pull needs, but has poor bearing capacity, and does not have cushioning and rebound functions. It is commonly used on computer keyboard drawers and office light drawers.

2. Steel ball drawer slide: It has smooth sliding, convenient installation, and is very durable. The special structure of the rail and the precise steel balls ensure stability. It can be installed directly on the side panel or plug-in or into the groove of the drawer side panel

Hidden bottom drawer slide rail: The rail is hidden at the bottom of the drawer, durable, frictionless, noiseless, and self closing.

4. Horse riding slide rail: It is further improved and designed based on the hidden slide rail, while integrating the back plates on both sides of the drawer, which has better enhanced smoothness and durability.

Selection Technique of Drawer Slide

When reinstalling drawers, there is also a need to pay attention to the need to select a suitable slide length based on the depth of the drawer. Generally, the length of steel ball slide rails is divided into 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, and 600mm. When selecting a slide rail, we need to ensure that the length of the slide rail is less than or equal to the length of the drawer.
